After a rather tough play, McMechen's Abdellah Medjadi Gourion got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, Elk Plain AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelhamid Boulebda to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Mohamed Lacen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but El Ulansi was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Mohamed Lacen might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over El Ulansi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohamed Lacen ran back to his position shaking his head. When Abdelhamid Boulebda was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. A collision led to Elk Plain AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Abdelhamid Boulebda hit a great ball. Smail Horr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without El Ulansi having to interfere. El Ulansi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Lacen in the 41st minute of the match. Abd el Larbi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Djamel Hima in the 44th minute. Mohamed Lacen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but El Ulansi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

If Hocine Djebar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elk Plain AFC's El Ulansi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Elk Plain AFC from getting a goal against them. Djamel Hima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Mohamed Lacen lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated El Ulansi. El Ulansi made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Smail Horr sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in McMechen's zone, Djamel Hima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abd el Larbi came out of the goal and Djamel Hima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamel Hima in the 84th minute of play forced McMechen's goalkeeper Abd el Larbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Smail Horr got free in front of the goal in the 96th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. El Ulansi was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
