Karim Mansouri started the match with the kick off. When Rabah Liegeon fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coral Springs FC's protests and gave Rabah Liegeon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Coral Springs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rabah Liegeon to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Djamel Hima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elk Plain AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Elk Plain AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Tedj Hima hit a great ball. Zoheir El-Ouafi struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. El Ulansi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coral Springs FC. Rabah Liegeon kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Tahar Cherrad sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Coral Springs FC's Mouloud Guendouz didn't even have to move. A hard shot 17 in the game by Zoheir El-Ouafi from a close distance when the talented El Ulansi managed to make a qualified save. Elk Plain AFC's players were relieved. Coral Springs FC's Mouloud Guendouz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamel Hima in the 19th minute of play. Mouloud Guendouz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelhamid Boulebda in the 24th minute of the match. El Ulansi came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Coral Springs FC's Zoheir El-Ouafi. But to his dismay, Zoheir El-Ouafi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The Coral Springs FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Coral Springs FC's Nassim Maroc looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nassim Maroc scored 3-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of El Ulansi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute Zoheir El-Ouafi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Tahar Cherrad charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tahar Cherrad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tahar Cherrad hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rabah Liegeon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without El Ulansi having to interfere. Coral Springs FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Djamel Moll in the 65th minute. After taking down the ball on Coral Springs FC's corner Djamel Moll fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and El Ulansi quite easily take care of the ball. Mouloud Guendouz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Djamel Hima in the 72nd minute. After 77 played minutes Coral Springs FC got a freekick which was hit by Rabah Liegeon. After a defensive mix-up in Coral Springs FC's zone, Djamel Hima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mouloud Guendouz came out of the goal and Djamel Hima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Djamel Hima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coral Springs FC's Mouloud Guendouz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Coral Springs FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Elk Plain AFC booed when Coral Springs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nassim Maroc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mouloud Guendouz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tahar Cherrad. In the 91st minute, Mehdi Feraoun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
