Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hueytown AFC's Toufik Guessoum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yazid Fillali in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Spring Valley FC's zone, Fateh Abdi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tedj Benflis came out of the goal and Fateh Abdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tedj Benflis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Reda Mansouri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Spring Valley FC booed when Hueytown AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Mazzid didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Hicham Sadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spring Valley FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hicham Sadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toufik Guessoum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mehdi Saïd-Guerni came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Spring Valley FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehdi Saïd-Guerni couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Hueytown AFC's Toufik Guessoum got control of the ball when Mehdi Saïd-Guerni tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Hueytown AFC. Rachid Cherrad stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tedj Benflis. 0-1. Dida Diafat hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hicham Sadi was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Spring Valley FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Faouzi Zéroual hit a great ball. Hicham Sadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toufik Guessoum having to interfere. Hueytown AFC's Fateh Abdi got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmed Reda Mansouri struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Tedj Benflis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hueytown AFC. If Hicham Sadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tedj Benflis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fateh Abdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Spring Valley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fateh Abdi came free, but Tedj Benflis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi Saïd-Guerni in the 86th minute of play forced Hueytown AFC's goalkeeper Toufik Guessoum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehdi Saïd-Guerni scored 1-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toufik Guessoum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tedj Benflis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fateh Abdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Ali Mazzid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fateh Abdi in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tedj Benflis saved Spring Valley FC from getting behind. Ahmed Reda Mansouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hueytown AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
