The supporters of Purvis booed when Florence AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Yahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Purvis's goalkeeper Samir Boukensa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mohamed Ahmed kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ben Hemdani came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Purvis's Karim Ali. But to his dismay, Karim Ali quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Samir Boukensa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Madjid Nekkar sent off a good shot on target. Samir Boukensa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Ahmed in the 32nd minute of play. Rabah Barbarossa kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Karim Belfaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Hemdani having to interfere. If Madjid Nekkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ahmed Ahmed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Karim Ali made the kick off in the second half. Samir Boukensa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Ahmed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Purvis's zone, Madjid Nekkar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samir Boukensa came out of the goal and Madjid Nekkar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Guillaume Laurent Aziz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohamed Ahmed took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samir Boukensa. Purvis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Abdulhamid Benchenaa fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purvis's protests and gave Abdulhamid Benchenaa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Abdulhamid Benchenaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Purvis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rabah Barbarossa was slow to take the kick. During this time Florence AFC's players had a chance to rest. Rabah Barbarossa made a great header on Florence AFC's corner, it was just that Purvis's Samir Boukensa managed to reach the ball for a save. Karim Ali might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ben Hemdani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karim Ali ran back to his position shaking his head. Karim Belfaa took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ben Hemdani. Ben Hemdani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Salim Mammeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madjid Nekkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Samir Boukensa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, one of Florence AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 92 minutes into the match, Florence AFC's Ahmed Ahmed sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samir Boukensa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Guillaume Laurent Aziz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ben Hemdani, 0-4. 99 minutes into the match, Florence AFC's goalkeeper Ben Hemdani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karim Belfaa.
