Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karim Gaouaoui started the match with the kick off. Karim Gaouaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Gaouaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Djahnine having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Foley got a freekick which was hit by Abdelmalek Zerguelaine. Wilberforce AFC's Abd al-Asis Bezzaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelmalek Zerguelaine in the 16th minute of play. If Soltani Halimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes, Foley's Khalida Nekkar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abd al-Asis Bezzaz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Foley reached it. In the 24th minute, Nadir Mansouri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdelmalek Zerguelaine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Abd al-Asis Bezzaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nadir Mansouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilberforce AFC's Abd al-Asis Bezzaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nadir Mansouri in the 33rd minute of play. Mimoun Hadjar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd al-Asis Bezzaz having to interfere. Foley's Nadir Mansouri got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Karim Gaouaoui came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Wilberforce AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Gaouaoui couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The corner ended in Daniel Reda Madouni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Foley's Mohamed Djahnine did a great save. If Soltani Halimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 66 in the game by Nadir Mansouri from a close distance when the talented Abd al-Asis Bezzaz managed to make a qualified save. Wilberforce AFC's players were relieved. 67 minutes into the game, Abdelnasser Benhamou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wilberforce AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foley the free kick. Abdelnasser Benhamou hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Abdelnasser Benhamou was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. 73 minutes into the match, Wilberforce AFC's goalkeeper Abd al-Asis Bezzaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nadir Mansouri. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Abdelmalek Zerguelaine got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 78 minutes into the match, Wilberforce AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelmalek Zerguelaine came free, but Abd al-Asis Bezzaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abd al-Asis Bezzaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yacine Hamid in the 83rd minute of the match. Wilberforce AFC's Abd al-Asis Bezzaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelmalek Zerguelaine in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nadir Mansouri got free with Abd al-Asis Bezzaz in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdelmalek Zerguelaine struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Abd al-Asis Bezzaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Foley. In the 93rd minute, Yacine Oussalah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wilberforce AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Ben Bella was slow to take the kick. During this time Foley's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Nadir Mansouri at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Wilberforce AFC. 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Foley eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
