Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karim Medjani started the match with the kick off. Lili Merbah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Medjani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Bouchemla in the 10th minute of play forced Delaware FC's goalkeeper Hamid Achiou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Karim Medjani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lili Merbah was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Mohamed Bouchemla notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Delaware FC's Hamid Achiou. Hamid Achiou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Zoheir Besseghir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Bouchemla made a kick off. Oglesby FC's Zoheir Besseghir got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zoheir Besseghir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Hamid Achiou made a huge save. 75 minutes into the game, Faouzi Bella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Delaware FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oglesby FC the free kick. Zoheir Besseghir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hamid Achiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Delaware FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Bouchemla came free, but Hamid Achiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lili Merbah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Medjani, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Hamid Achiou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zoheir Besseghir in the 89th minute. In the 89th match minute, Delaware FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hameur Sennaoui to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 95 minutes, Karim Medjani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delaware FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Medjani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
