In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Delaware FC's goalkeeper Hamid Achiou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karim Medjani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Bessou having to interfere. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Chadli Fergani sped through Delaware FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hamid Achiou. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. El Messaoudi was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes, Buena Vista AFC's Ferhat Labi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hamid Achiou came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buena Vista AFC reached it. 55 minutes into the match, Delaware FC's goal looked a bit too open when El Messaoudi came free, but Hamid Achiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delaware FC's Hamid Achiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by El Messaoudi in the 58th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Delaware FC got a freekick which was hit by Hakim Medjoudj. In the 68th minute Karim Medjani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Bessou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buena Vista AFC's goalkeeper Ahmed Bessou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Buena Vista AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
