Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karim Medjani started the match with the kick off. Mustapha Boulebda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalida Soltani in the 7th minute of play. Reda Morceli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamid Achiou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Reda Morceli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamid Achiou. Delaware FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reda Morceli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of Crab Orchard booed when Delaware FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustapha Mammeri didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Delaware FC's Hamid Achiou got control of the ball when Reda Morceli tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Reda Morceli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamid Achiou was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When Delaware FC's Khalida Soltani in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crab Orchard's goalie prevented a goal. Delaware FC's Karim Medjani got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nadir Rimitti's late challenge caught a Delaware FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nadir Rimitti helped the player get up and apologised. 32 minutes into the match, Delaware FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cheb Dahar came free, but Hamid Achiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karim Medjani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustapha Boulebda having to interfere. Cheb Dahar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Reda Morceli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reda Morceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Achiou having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Reda Morceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Achiou having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Khalida Soltani got free with Mustapha Boulebda in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Khalida Soltani struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Mustapha Boulebda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delaware FC. Hamid Achiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheb Dahar in the 75th minute of the match. Khalida Soltani might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustapha Boulebda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Khalida Soltani ran back to his position shaking his head. Crab Orchard's Mustapha Boulebda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Medjani in the 88th minute of play. Mustapha Boulebda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karim Medjani's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. A collision led to Crab Orchard getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nadir Rimitti hit a great ball. Khalida Soltani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Crab Orchard had won after a very even match.
