Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rafik Djenia Lkbira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Sofiane Mezair got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Kapaa's Yasmina Rimitti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amrani Bensaïd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of South Russell AFC booed when Kapaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Zaaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Rafik Djenia Lkbira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Russell AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafik Djenia Lkbira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yasmina Rimitti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Amrani Bensaïd when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Nasreddine Aït Salem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Sofiane Mezair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nasser Kouici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, South Russell AFC's goalkeeper Amrani Bensaïd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yasmina Rimitti. If Yasmina Rimitti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Kermali in the 26th minute of play forced South Russell AFC's goalkeeper Amrani Bensaïd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sofiane Mezair in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nasser Kouici saved Kapaa from getting behind. Nasser Kouici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofiane Mezair in the 33rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Kermali stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sofiane Mezair might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nasser Kouici. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sofiane Mezair ran back to his position shaking his head. Nasser Kouici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafik Djenia Lkbira in the 56th minute of play. Rafik Djenia Lkbira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nasser Kouici having to make a save. Nasser Kouici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafik Djenia Lkbira, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 70th minute Ismael Kermali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amrani Bensaïd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sofiane Mezair's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nasser Kouici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Rafik Djenia Lkbira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nasser Kouici. Kapaa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafik Djenia Lkbira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Sofiane Mezair came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the South Russell AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sofiane Mezair couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Rafik Djenia Lkbira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. South Russell AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karim Abbas in the 89th minute. The supporters of South Russell AFC booed when Kapaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Zaaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute South Russell AFC were awarded a corner. Karim Abbas went to the cornerflag to take it. South Russell AFC's Karim Abbas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nasser Kouici in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. South Russell AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
