Benamar Benarbia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Smail Liegeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fodil Messaoudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Bentaala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Said Abdenouz in the 9th minute of play. Mohamed Bentaala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Said Abdenouz in the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Gardena AFC got a freekick which was hit by Frantz Brahmi. Benamar Benarbia might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Smail Liegeon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benamar Benarbia ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the game, Said Abdenouz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lower Grand Lagoon AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gardena AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lower Grand Lagoon AFC's Said Abdenouz got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Baba Ali Hanister in the 16th minute of play forced Lower Grand Lagoon AFC's goalkeeper Smail Liegeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Fodil Messaoudi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute Benamar Benarbia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Smail Liegeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benamar Benarbia scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Smail Liegeon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Gardena AFC booed when Lower Grand Lagoon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nassim Zaoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Said Abdenouz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohamed Bentaala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Fodil Messaoudi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Mohamed Bentaala made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Gardena AFC's zone, Said Abdenouz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Bentaala came out of the goal and Said Abdenouz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Benamar Benarbia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gardena AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benamar Benarbia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Smail Liegeon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rachid Baba Ali Hanister stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benamar Benarbia took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Smail Liegeon. Smail Liegeon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Rachid Baba Ali Hanister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Lower Grand Lagoon AFC's Said Abdenouz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohamed Bentaala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Smail Liegeon was a little too slow when Rachid Baba Ali Hanister got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-3. 72 minutes into the match, Lower Grand Lagoon AFC's goalkeeper Smail Liegeon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benamar Benarbia. Lower Grand Lagoon AFC's Smail Liegeon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Baba Ali Hanister in the 79th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Rachid Baba Ali Hanister got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Lower Grand Lagoon AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Houari Cerbah hit a great ball. Ali N'Soumer, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gardena AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
