The supporters of Gardena AFC booed when Howard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boubekeur Rimitti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tayeb Abdessalam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Baba Ali Hanister in the 3rd minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Howard FC's Nassim Kermali sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohamed Bentaala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nassim Kermali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Mohamed Bentaala made a huge save. Mohamed Bentaala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayeb Brahmi in the 15th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Howard FC got a freekick which was hit by Nasserredine Belloumi. Ali N'Soumer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tayeb Abdessalam. Howard FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 20 played minutes Howard FC got a freekick which was hit by Belaid Yacine. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rachid Baba Ali Hanister in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tayeb Abdessalam saved Howard FC from getting behind. Benamar Benarbia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Howard FC's Tayeb Abdessalam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Baba Ali Hanister in the 28th minute of play. Benamar Benarbia might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tayeb Abdessalam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benamar Benarbia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute Benamar Benarbia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayeb Abdessalam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tayeb Abdessalam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Baba Ali Hanister, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Howard FC's Tayeb Abdessalam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Baba Ali Hanister in the 42nd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tayeb Brahmi to make the kick off. Nasserredine Belloumi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ali N'Soumer, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rachid Baba Ali Hanister in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tayeb Abdessalam saved Howard FC from getting behind. Benamar Benarbia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tayeb Abdessalam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rachid Baba Ali Hanister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Howard FC's zone, Rachid Baba Ali Hanister stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayeb Abdessalam came out of the goal and Rachid Baba Ali Hanister tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Rachid Baba Ali Hanister fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tayeb Abdessalam, passed just outside the right post. Benamar Benarbia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Abdessalam having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Howard FC got a freekick which was hit by Fadel Djamel. Tayeb Brahmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mohamed Bentaala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rachid Baba Ali Hanister fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gardena AFC's protests and gave Rachid Baba Ali Hanister a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th match minute, Gardena AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rachid Baba Ali Hanister to maneuver through the defense. Gardena AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
