Ali Zitouni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Nouara Rimitti made a huge save. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simonton Lake's goalkeeper Nouara Rimitti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Simonton Lake's goalkeeper Nouara Rimitti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Zitouni. In the 14th minute, Tedj Touhami ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mouloud Hanister was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Simonton Lake's Tedj Touhami in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nouara Rimitti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tipton AFC. If Rafik El-Kenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Mohammad Mihoubi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mouloud Hanister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Bencherif in the 32nd minute of play. Mohamed Bencherif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Rafik El-Kenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nouara Rimitti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Abdelaziz Taha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Zitouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nouara Rimitti having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mohamed Bencherif to make the kick off. Tipton AFC's Ali Zitouni got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Tedj Touhami got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmond Ghozali's late challenge caught a Tipton AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmond Ghozali helped the player get up and apologised. Ali Zitouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafik El-Kenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Simonton Lake's Edmond Ghozali got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 76th play minutes Rafik El-Kenz shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Nouara Rimitti and just under the crossbar into goal. Rafik El-Kenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nouara Rimitti having to interfere. If Ali Zitouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Bencherif might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mouloud Hanister. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohamed Bencherif ran back to his position shaking his head.
