Abdelkader Bensaoula had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Ahmed Bedjaoui's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Winchester AFC's Abdelkader Bensaoula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Smail Amrouche in the 17th minute of play. Abdelkader Bensaoula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bendjedid Khaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Leon El-Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Winchester AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bendjedid Khaldi came free, but Abdelkader Bensaoula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Boudjemaa Louahla from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Mohamed Saïdi-Sief's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Nourredine Tlemcani fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trabzonspor 61's protests and gave Nourredine Tlemcani a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Winchester AFC booed when Trabzonspor 61 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nourredine Tlemcani didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Leon El-Hadi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Winchester AFC's Abdelkader Bensaoula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Smail Amrouche in the 38th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Winchester AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cheb Raho. Trabzonspor 61's Ahmed Bedjaoui got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Smail Amrouche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdelkader Bensaoula having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bendjedid Khaldi to strike the kick off in the second half. Ahmed Bedjaoui's late challenge caught a Winchester AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmed Bedjaoui helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Winchester AFC. Jussef Ben Timsit stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mohamed Saïdi-Sief. 1-0. Bendjedid Khaldi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdelkader Bensaoula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Bendjedid Khaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Leon El-Hadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winchester AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon El-Hadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Saïdi-Sief breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Winchester AFC's goalkeeper Abdelkader Bensaoula, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mohamed Saïdi-Sief showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon El-Hadi in the 75th minute of the match. Leon El-Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Slimane Madouni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trabzonspor 61's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winchester AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor 61's Slimane Madouni got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Winchester AFC's zone, Smail Amrouche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelkader Bensaoula came out of the goal and Smail Amrouche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdelkader Bensaoula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bendjedid Khaldi in the 89th minute of the match. Abdelkader Bensaoula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Smail Amrouche in the 91st minute. Leon El-Hadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Smail Amrouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Abdelkader Bensaoula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trabzonspor 61's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
