Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jean-Baptiste Benarbia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Jean-Baptiste Benarbia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hakim Moussa, 1-0. Jean-Baptiste Benarbia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Mohammad Boukensa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belaid Zidān in the 14th minute of play forced Pontiac's goalkeeper Souad Abbas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Poplarville booed when Pontiac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mebarek Madani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belaid Zidān blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Souad Abbas having to make a save. In the 21st minute Jean-Baptiste Benarbia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakim Moussa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pontiac's Souad Abbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belaid Zidān in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Rachid Djura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pontiac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poplarville the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Poplarville's Mourad Asma tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pontiac's Jean-Baptiste Benarbia got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Souad Abbas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from El Khendu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillaume Laurent Benflis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Hakim Moussa made a huge save. El Khendu might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Souad Abbas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. El Khendu ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Poplarville's El Khendu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Souad Abbas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belaid Zidān stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jean-Baptiste Benarbia scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hakim Moussa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Djura in the 63rd minute of play forced Poplarville's goalkeeper Hakim Moussa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pontiac's Jean-Baptiste Benarbia got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hakim Moussa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Baptiste Benarbia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Abdelhamid Aribi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poplarville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pontiac the free kick. After 74 played minutes Poplarville got a freekick which was hit by Abdelhamid Aribi. Pontiac's Hamid Sennaoui couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Poplarville. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pontiac's goalkeeper Souad Abbas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Guillaume Laurent Benflis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pontiac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillaume Laurent Benflis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute Jean-Baptiste Benarbia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakim Moussa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Pontiac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nordine Benida to maneuver through the defense. Guillaume Laurent Benflis's late challenge caught a Poplarville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillaume Laurent Benflis helped the player get up and apologised. Guillaume Laurent Benflis hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Poplarville got a corner. Pontiac's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mourad Asma ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mourad Asma got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Souad Abbas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pontiac had won after a very even match.
