In the 12th minute Mokdad Mehenni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abd al-Aziz Meriem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bellflower FC's Abd al-Aziz Meriem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chih Abdenouz in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tedj Hamid in the 17th minute of play forced Chowchilla FC's goalkeeper Mehdi Belfaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mohamed Moll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Moll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mehdi Belfaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chih Abdenouz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bellflower FC's Tedj Hamid in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 47th minute, Mokdad Mehenni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mokdad Mehenni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Tedj Hamid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 53 minutes into the match, Chowchilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tedj Hamid came free, but Mehdi Belfaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehdi Belfaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mimoun Medjiba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tedj Hamid came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Bellflower FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tedj Hamid couldn't finish the play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mokdad Mehenni couldn't finish the play. After having played for 89 minutes, Mohamed Moll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellflower FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Moll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chowchilla FC's Mokdad Mehenni got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chowchilla FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
