Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Faouzi Madjer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Faouzi Madjer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Bougherra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah Mhenni having to interfere. When Cedar Springs's Faouzi Madjer in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fruita's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Fruita getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Mouloud Achiu hit a great ball. Rabah Mhenni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faouzi Madjer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cedar Springs's Mohamed Saïfi got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Mansour Zouba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fruita's Fadel Bitat shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Abderrahmane Sadmi but with some difficulty. Faouzi Madjer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rabah Mhenni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cedar Springs's zone, Muhammad Bouazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abderrahmane Sadmi came out of the goal and Muhammad Bouazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Fathi Bellemou Messaoud dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abderrahmane Sadmi, 1-0. Cedar Springs's Mohamed Bougherra got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohamed Bougherra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rabah Mhenni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Faouzi Madjer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rabah Mhenni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fathi Bellemou Messaoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, Cedar Springs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Bougherra to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cedar Springs's Madjid Hima got a free kick in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Cedar Springs's goalkeeper Abderrahmane Sadmi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fathi Bellemou Messaoud. After having played for 48 minutes, Muhammad Bouazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fruita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muhammad Bouazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Muhammad Bouazza made the kick off in the second half. When Fathi Bellemou Messaoud came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Fruita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fathi Bellemou Messaoud couldn't finish the play. In the 58th match minute, Cedar Springs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mansour Zouba to maneuver through the defense. If Muhammad Bouazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Bougherra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah Mhenni having to interfere. When Muhammad Bouazza came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Fruita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muhammad Bouazza couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the game, Youssef Madani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cedar Springs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fruita the free kick. After a long run with the ball, Fadel Bitat did a trick in the 79th minute in front of Cedar Springs's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-1. An impressive performance by Fruita's Fadel Bitat! If Mohamed Bougherra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fathi Bellemou Messaoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Abderrahmane Sadmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fathi Bellemou Messaoud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cedar Springs's zone, Muhammad Bouazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abderrahmane Sadmi came out of the goal and Muhammad Bouazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cedar Springs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
