Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rock Falls AFC's Bellemou Bentaala started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Faouzi Madjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salim Cohen-Tannoudji charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salim Cohen-Tannoudji the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rock Falls AFC's Salim Cohen-Tannoudji got a free kick in the 4th minute. Mohamed Bougherra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Mansouri having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Mohamed Bougherra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cedar Springs's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Bougherra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Mansouri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bellemou Bentaala in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abderrahmane Sadmi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bellemou Bentaala in the 12th minute of play forced Cedar Springs's goalkeeper Abderrahmane Sadmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bouzid Kafi during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Bouzid Kafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Bellemou Bentaala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cedar Springs's Abderrahmane Sadmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bellemou Bentaala in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rock Falls AFC defense, Mohamed Bougherra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmed Mansouri. The Rock Falls AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmed Mansouri should have stopped the shot. Rachid Yacef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mansour Zouba kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Rock Falls AFC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Cedar Springs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karim Djeballi took the corner. In the 41st minute of the match Karim Djeballi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abderrahmane Sadmi skillfully saved the ball. After 41 played minutes Cedar Springs got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Saïfi. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Bellemou Bentaala managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faouzi Madjer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Rachid Yacef was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rock Falls AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cedar Springs the free kick. If Mohamed Bougherra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abderrahmane Sadmi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bellemou Bentaala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mohamed Bougherra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmed Mansouri. That made the score 1-2 in the 72 minute of play. Cedar Springs's Mohamed Bougherra got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bellemou Bentaala came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Rock Falls AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bellemou Bentaala couldn't finish the play. Bellemou Bentaala struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Abderrahmane Sadmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rock Falls AFC. Despite this Abderrahmane Sadmi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cedar Springs's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
