Cheb Kermali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Souad Zahouania made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salah Ulansi in the 39th minute of play. Mansour Medjoudj's late challenge caught a Lake Wales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mansour Medjoudj helped the player get up and apologised. Mansour Medjoudj kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Karim Semghoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lake Wales's Souad Zahouania played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salah Ulansi in the 45th minute of play. Yasmina Azzizi-Kettab hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cheb Kermali to make the kick off. Mansour Medjoudj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Cheb Kermali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cedar Grove AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cheb Kermali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Cedar Grove AFC's Salah Ulansi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Souad Zahouania made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 69th minute of the match Nassim Morceli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Souad Zahouania showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karim Semghoun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ahmed Reda Sofiane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Cedar Grove AFC's Cheb Kermali sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Souad Zahouania narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Karim Semghoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cedar Grove AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
