Amar Bahari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 4th minute Halim Bouzid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Ahmed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Noureddine Diafat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monfort Heights East's supporters rose to their feet, but Noureddine Diafat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Oussalah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rachid Baba Ali Benhamou during the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quincy's zone, Noureddine Diafat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Edmond Oussalah came out of the goal and Noureddine Diafat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Monfort Heights East:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quincy:s goal. In the 71st minute, Samir Azzizi-Kettab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rachid Baba Ali Benhamou was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. Rachid Baba Ali Benhamou hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Amar Bahari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mimoun Bessou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Robert Ahmed made a huge save. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quincy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
