Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Abdel Hamid Kourichi's late challenge caught a Ames AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdel Hamid Kourichi helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Groton FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdel Hamid Kourichi. With a little luck, Ames AFC's Smail Meskine got control of the ball when Ismaël Massi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ismaël Massi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Smail Meskine was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Smail Meskine was a little too slow when Jussef Zarabi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-1. Jussef Zarabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Smail Meskine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camel Azzizi-Kettab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of El Menguellet's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismaël Massi got free with Smail Meskine in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the match, El Menguellet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camel Azzizi-Kettab. Groton FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that El Menguellet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Camel Azzizi-Kettab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhat Madjer in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 52 played minutes Ames AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Boniche. Abdelhamid Zakaria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Smail Meskine. Ames AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Ferhat Madjer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camel Azzizi-Kettab, 2-3. After 70 minutes, Jussef Zarabi made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ames AFC's Smail Meskine tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the game, Groton FC's Ismaël Massi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Smail Meskine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. In the 78th minute, Ferhat Madjer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Camel Azzizi-Kettab, passed just outside the right post. El Menguellet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Camel Azzizi-Kettab skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rafik Aboulker hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jussef Zarabi struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Smail Meskine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Groton FC. Ferhat Madjer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camel Azzizi-Kettab having to make a save. El Menguellet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 93 played minutes, Ames AFC's Abdelkader Assad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camel Azzizi-Kettab came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ames AFC reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ames AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Groton FC.
