When Halim Megharia fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colonial Heights's protests and gave Halim Megharia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Colonial Heights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halim Megharia to maneuver through the defense. Camel Yacine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdelnacer Drid's late challenge caught a Colonial Heights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelnacer Drid helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Summit AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Nasser Mimoun went to the wrong direction when El Chaib was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Bouabdellah Morceli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 minutes, Cheikha Medjani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colonial Heights and the Summit AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Colonial Heights getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cheikha Medjani hit a great ball. Djabir Sadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasser Mimoun having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Summit AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Djabir Sadi came free, but Nasser Mimoun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bouabdellah Morceli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mahieddine Boulmerka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bouabdellah Morceli got free with Mahieddine Boulmerka in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mahieddine Boulmerka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camel Yacine, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Djabir Sadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nasser Mimoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Summit AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Halim Hanister came free, but Nasser Mimoun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahieddine Boulmerka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camel Yacine, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Bouabdellah Morceli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Mahieddine Boulmerka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Colonial Heights's Mahieddine Boulmerka got control of the ball when Bouabdellah Morceli tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Djabir Sadi was the one to do the kick off. Nasser Mimoun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohammed Ahmed Ben Djebar in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Abdelmalek El-Ouafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the game's 56th minute Colonial Heights's El Chaib took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Nasser Mimoun and thus the score was 1-1. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Djebar struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Nasser Mimoun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colonial Heights. Nasser Mimoun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Djabir Sadi's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Colonial Heights booed when Summit AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelmalek El-Ouafi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Djebar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Nasser Mimoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Summit AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Djabir Sadi came free, but Nasser Mimoun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahieddine Boulmerka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camel Yacine in the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Camel Yacine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mahieddine Boulmerka was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The supporters of Summit AFC booed when Colonial Heights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halim Hanister didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colonial Heights's Mahieddine Boulmerka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bouabdellah Morceli in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Colonial Heights getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Farès Nima hit a great ball. Bouabdellah Morceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahieddine Boulmerka having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Mohammed Ahmed Ben Djebar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colonial Heights's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohammed Ahmed Ben Djebar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nasser Mimoun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Summit AFC's goalkeeper Nasser Mimoun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohammed Ahmed Ben Djebar. The Colonial Heights players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Summit AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
