Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rachid Abrika took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ahmed Assad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Onawa getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Said Karim Belkassem hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Onawa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Farid Halimi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Abderaouf Moussa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasdi Kerkar in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Onawa booed when Canastota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelmalek Liegeon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abderaouf Moussa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amar Djebbour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Onawa's Tayeb Zaaboub got control of the ball when Said Ghozali tried to sneak it across the goal line. Farid Halimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Zaaboub having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Said Ghozali got free with Tayeb Zaaboub in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abderaouf Moussa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Abrika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Farid Halimi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Said Ghozali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canastota's supporters rose to their feet, but Said Ghozali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayeb Zaaboub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ahmed Assad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abderaouf Moussa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Abrika in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Ahmed Assad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abderaouf Moussa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Farid Halimi made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Onawa's Abderaouf Moussa threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rachid Abrika, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abderaouf Moussa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmed Assad in the 62nd minute. Fodil El-Hadi's late challenge caught a Canastota's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fodil El-Hadi helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Onawa got a freekick which was hit by Fodil El-Hadi. 66 minutes into the match, Onawa's goal looked a bit too open when Said Ghozali came free, but Tayeb Zaaboub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Farid Halimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Farid Halimi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canastota's supporters crossed their fingers, but Farid Halimi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Onawa's goalkeeper Tayeb Zaaboub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Onawa's Ahmed Assad got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rachid Abrika, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Abderaouf Moussa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Farid Halimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
