In the 4th minute Djamel Bouazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayeb Zaaboub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nadir Sahraoui was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Onawa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Westvale:s goal. In the 17th match minute, Westvale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mounir Khalef to maneuver through the defense. If Rachid Abrika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Djamel Bouazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayeb Zaaboub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mounir Khalef blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tayeb Zaaboub having to make a save. Fodil El-Hadi charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fodil El-Hadi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fodil El-Hadi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Djamel Bouazza struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Tayeb Zaaboub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westvale. 33 minutes into the match, Onawa's goalkeeper Tayeb Zaaboub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nadir Sahraoui. Ahmed Assad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adlène Hima having to interfere. If Ahmed Assad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soltani Amsallem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tayeb Zaaboub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Rachid Abrika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adlène Hima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rachid Abrika to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Westvale getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Smail Zouba hit a great ball. Rachid Abrika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nadir Sahraoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Zaaboub having to interfere. When Djamel Bouazza came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Westvale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djamel Bouazza couldn't finish the play. Nadir Sahraoui scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tayeb Zaaboub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rachid Abrika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tayeb Zaaboub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nadir Sahraoui in the 76th minute of play. Nadir Sahraoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80thth minute of the game Nadir Sahraoui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Onawa's Tayeb Zaaboub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Westvale getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Smail Zouba hit a great ball. Rachid Abrika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Westvale's zone, Ahmed Assad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adlène Hima came out of the goal and Ahmed Assad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adlène Hima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmed Assad in the 91st minute. After 93 played minutes Westvale got a freekick which was hit by Smail Zouba. Amar Djebbour took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adlène Hima. Westvale's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Onawa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Westvale.
