Maamar Bentifour kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Toufik Mérah-Benida came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the East Palo Alto AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toufik Mérah-Benida couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Djamel Benchenaa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brawley's supporters rose to their feet, but Djamel Benchenaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jussef Ben Fellahi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, East Palo Alto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Djamel Benchenaa came free, but Jussef Ben Fellahi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jussef Ben Fellahi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Madhi Moussaoui's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Mohammed Douibi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Madhi Moussaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ahmed Reda Gourion's late challenge caught a Brawley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmed Reda Gourion helped the player get up and apologised. Madhi Moussaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madhi Moussaoui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jussef Ben Fellahi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Djamel Benchenaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. East Palo Alto AFC's Jussef Ben Fellahi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamel Benchenaa in the 46th minute of play. Djamel Benchenaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Madhi Moussaoui to strike the kick off in the second half. Abdulhamid Larbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maamar Bentifour, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, Nordine Kermali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Madhi Moussaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussef Ben Fellahi having to interfere. Mohammed Douibi charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohammed Douibi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Mohammed Douibi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Djamel Benchenaa got free with Jussef Ben Fellahi in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. East Palo Alto AFC's Toufik Mérah-Benida got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maamar Bentifour in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdulhamid Larbi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Madhi Moussaoui was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Brawley's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to East Palo Alto AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ahmed Adjani hit a great ball. After some careless play in the East Palo Alto AFC defense, Djamel Benchenaa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jussef Ben Fellahi. The East Palo Alto AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jussef Ben Fellahi should have stopped the shot. When Madhi Moussaoui came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Brawley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Madhi Moussaoui couldn't finish the play. Madhi Moussaoui was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 98th minute, Djamel Benchenaa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jussef Ben Fellahi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Brawley's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
