Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nasserredine Drioueche took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Mustapha Zarabi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benamar Mehenni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Monte Sereno FC's zone, Noureddine Bentaala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benamar Mehenni came out of the goal and Noureddine Bentaala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Mohand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Benamar Mehenni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benamar Mehenni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustapha Zarabi in the 12th minute of the match. Mustapha Zarabi struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Benamar Mehenni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Mustapha Zarabi sped through Monte Sereno FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benamar Mehenni. If Noureddine Bentaala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When El Mohand fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona's protests and gave El Mohand a yellow card for diving instead. 23 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Hemza Aribi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohamed Medjoudj. After having played for 30 minutes, Mustapha Zarabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustapha Zarabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monte Sereno FC's Benamar Mehenni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noureddine Bentaala in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Noureddine Bentaala managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Noureddine Bentaala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benamar Mehenni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benamar Mehenni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustapha Zarabi in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute El Mohand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benamar Mehenni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Mustapha Zarabi made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Monte Sereno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mustapha Zarabi came free, but Benamar Mehenni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nasserredine Drioueche's late challenge caught a FC Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nasserredine Drioueche helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Nasserredine Drioueche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Barcelona's Noureddine Bentaala got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benamar Mehenni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noureddine Bentaala in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Mohamed Medjoudj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monte Sereno FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Benamar Mehenni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from El Mohand, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monte Sereno FC's goalkeeper Benamar Mehenni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustapha Zarabi in the 77th minute of play forced Monte Sereno FC's goalkeeper Benamar Mehenni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC Barcelona's Mustapha Zarabi in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monte Sereno FC's goalie prevented a goal. Benamar Mehenni made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Mustapha Zarabi sent off a good shot on target. If Noureddine Bentaala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mustapha Zarabi came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustapha Zarabi couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Medjoudj took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hemza Aribi. Hemza Aribi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. FC Barcelona were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
