After 22 played minutes Hamilton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mebarek Matoub. Hamilton AFC's Noureddine Sifi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheb Kacha in the 25th minute of play. Hameur Piaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hameur Piaf struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Meziane Aribi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamilton AFC. Cheb Kacha had several of the Hamilton AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Noureddine Sifi as he didn't even see the shot coming. 43 minutes in the game, Karim Cherfa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Noureddine Sifi having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cheb Kacha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toufik Zaoui during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st minute, Toufik Zaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cheb Kacha in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noureddine Sifi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toufik Zaoui got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Cheb Kacha struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. The supporters of Channahon AFC booed when Hamilton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halim Mohand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reda Dziri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Karim Djebar's late challenge caught a Hamilton AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
