When Oconomowoc's Menad Rimitti in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Karim Mimoun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menad Rimitti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lakhdar Amri didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 34 played minutes Oconomowoc got a freekick which was hit by Liamine Benflis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noureddine Assad in the 37th minute of play forced Oconomowoc's goalkeeper Lakhdar Amri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to West Paterson FC's Yahia Mesbah getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. West Paterson FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Salah Bensaïd in the 50th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelhamid Khendu was the one to do the kick off. Lakhdar Amri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belaid Djamel in the 58th minute of the match. Menad Rimitti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Karim Mimoun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Belaid Djamel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lakhdar Amri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. West Paterson FC's Noureddine Assad got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Menad Rimitti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Karim Mimoun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karim Mimoun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelhamid Khendu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 88th minute Abdelhamid Khendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Mimoun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to West Paterson FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Amar Guendouz hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Menad Rimitti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amar Guendouz got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 93 played minutes West Paterson FC got a freekick which was hit by Amar Guendouz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelhamid Khendu in the 96th minute of play forced West Paterson FC's goalkeeper Karim Mimoun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menad Rimitti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Karim Mimoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
