In the 6th match minute, East Pasadena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Said Souakri to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes, Gages Lake AFC's Rachid Mouzaoui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hocine Mekhloufi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gages Lake AFC reached it. In the 9th minute Jean-Baptiste Ammour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Mekhloufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kateb Sadmi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Sadmi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kateb Sadmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Dziri in the 15th minute of the match. If Jean-Baptiste Ammour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of East Pasadena FC booed when Gages Lake AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabah Cherrad didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rachid Sadmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes, Houari Mansouri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gages Lake AFC and the East Pasadena FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Gages Lake AFC got a freekick which was hit by Houari Mansouri. Ahmed Dziri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hocine Mekhloufi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Baptiste Ammour's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Gages Lake AFC's Jean-Baptiste Ammour dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Ahmed Dziri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 minutes of play, Gages Lake AFC's Ali Djebar made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hocine Mekhloufi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmed Dziri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Kateb Sadmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rachid Sadmi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Jean-Baptiste Ammour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Mekhloufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ahmed Dziri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Ali Djebar made a precise shot to the right of Hocine Mekhloufi. East Pasadena FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 75thth minute of the game Jean-Baptiste Ammour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Pasadena FC's Hocine Mekhloufi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 minutes of play Gages Lake AFC's Houari Mansouri was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Gages Lake AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Boughera Kensi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Sadmi in the 80th minute of play forced Gages Lake AFC's goalkeeper Kateb Sadmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kateb Sadmi was a little too slow when Rachid Sadmi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 3-1. The supporters of East Pasadena FC booed when Gages Lake AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Baptiste Ammour didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Gages Lake AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Sadmi came free, but Kateb Sadmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
