In the 5th match minute, Jennings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frantz Soltani to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Kermit FC's Mouloud Mérah-Benida threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tedj Mehenni, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tedj Mehenni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mouloud Mérah-Benida having to interfere. Kermit FC's Lounès Makkeb got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fadhil Bourebbou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lounès Makkeb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Mouloud Mérah-Benida made a huge save. Abdel Karim Bencherif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadhil Bourebbou, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jennings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Menad Boulebda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Menad Boulebda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kermit FC's Abdel Karim Bencherif was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rachid Hemdani hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Kermit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Menad Boulebda came free, but Abdel Karim Bencherif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Fadhil Bourebbou got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abdel Karim Bencherif was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Menad Boulebda might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdel Karim Bencherif. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Kermit FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jennings's performance. The match ended with a win for Jennings.
