West Springfield

Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gilles Saïdi-Sief started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Abdelmalek Benida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Khelaifias short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Nordine Kerbouche to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Strasburg's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelmalek Benida came free, but Nordine Kerbouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salah Sadaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salah Sadaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafik Zoheir Kensi having to interfere. In the 24th minute Abdelmalek Benida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nordine Kerbouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, West Springfield's goal looked a bit too open when Salah Sadaoui came free, but Rafik Zoheir Kensi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes, Fodil Guessoum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Springfield and the Strasburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute Gilles Saïdi-Sief shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafik Zoheir Kensi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafik Zoheir Kensi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salah Sadaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Gilles Saïdi-Sief managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strasburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilles Saïdi-Sief was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdelmalek Benida to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mansour Matmour sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Rafik Zoheir Kensi threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Mansour Matmour this time. Abdelmalek Benida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nordine Kerbouche having to interfere. With his leg Rafik Zoheir Kensi managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Strasburg's Salah Sadaoui fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When West Springfield's Abdelmalek Benida in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Strasburg's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 64 in the game by Salah Sadaoui from a close distance when the talented Rafik Zoheir Kensi managed to make a qualified save. West Springfield's players were relieved. 74 minutes into the game, West Springfield's Abdelmalek Benida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nordine Kerbouche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rafik Zoheir Kensi was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Gilles Saïdi-Sief capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilles Saïdi-Sief really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 84th match minute, West Springfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abderrachid Zeghdoud to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the game Madjid Zouba kicked a great long shot which passed Rafik Zoheir Kensi straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-3. One couldn't see Madjid Zouba behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Strasburg's Nordine Kerbouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderrachid Zeghdoud in the 93rd minute of play. The West Springfield fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when West Springfield's Abdelmalek Benida looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Strasburg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Strasburg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
