Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ahmed Oussar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Glenwood Springs FC's zone, Camel Benchenaa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mourad Boulmerka came out of the goal and Camel Benchenaa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camel Benchenaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lakhdar Boutabout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourad Boulmerka having to interfere. Mourad Boulmerka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakhdar Boutabout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Camel Benchenaa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Glenwood Springs FC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Glenwood Springs FC's Ahmed Oussar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mourad Boulmerka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakhdar Boutabout in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Lakhdar Boutabout dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mourad Boulmerka, 1-1. 47 minutes into the match, Djamal Khalef had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mohamed Sakhri. Running Springs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Djamal Khalef was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Running Springs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Glenwood Springs FC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lakhdar Boutabout to strike the kick off in the second half. Mourad Boulmerka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakhdar Boutabout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Glenwood Springs FC's Djamal Khalef got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Djamal Khalef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 68 minutes into the match, Running Springs's goal looked a bit too open when Djamal Khalef came free, but Mohamed Sakhri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rachid Zaaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bellemou Sam fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Running Springs's protests and gave Bellemou Sam a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Running Springs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bellemou Sam to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Glenwood Springs FC's Amar Banouas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Running Springs's Mohamed Sakhri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Running Springs from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lakhdar Boutabout in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mourad Boulmerka saved Glenwood Springs FC from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Lakhdar Boutabout got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Glenwood Springs FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Glenwood Springs FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
