Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rachid Baba Ali Belmadi got the match started through his kick off. Slimane Hamouda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slimane Hamouda scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdel Mehenni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Said Ali succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 10th playminute. After 14 minutes of play, Fairmont City's Rachid Baba Ali Belmadi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdel Mehenni was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Walid Brahmi fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waterbury's protests and gave Walid Brahmi a yellow card for diving instead. Walid Brahmi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Walid Brahmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Rachid Baba Ali Belmadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fairmont City's Mohammed Brahimi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Fairmont City from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Waterbury getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hameur Madjer hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Fairmont City's Karim Bridji tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Slimane Hamouda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Abdel Mehenni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Jean Mesbah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelhamid Gourion struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Mohammed Brahimi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waterbury. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

With his leg Abdel Mehenni managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Fairmont City's Slimane Hamouda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 58th minute, Slimane Hamouda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abdel Mehenni, passed just outside the right post. Waterbury's Abdel Mehenni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Waterbury from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Fairmont City's Karim Bridji seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karim Bridji the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fairmont City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karim Bridji had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 62nd minute, one of Fairmont City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fairmont City. Ahmed Fadela shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 67 minutes, Khair ad-Din Cohen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fairmont City and the Waterbury players grew even worse after the yellow card. Khair ad-Din Cohen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Mohammed Brahimi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelhamid Gourion in the 68th minute of the match. Said Ali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Brahimi having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Slimane Hamouda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdel Mehenni. Waterbury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Slimane Hamouda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 80th match minute, Fairmont City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheb Benhamou to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Ahmed Fadela sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohammed Brahimi skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute, Brahim Ammour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slimane Hamouda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Abdel Mehenni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Said Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Waterbury supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fairmont City's performance. The match ended with a win for Fairmont City.
