Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 minutes of play, Palmer FC's Brahim Belloumi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mahieddine Nabil was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Ladson:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palmer FC:s goal. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Palmer FC. Reda Khadra stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mahieddine Nabil. 0-2. If Abdelmalek Messaoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelmalek Messaoud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Mustapha Bouazza made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rabah Timsit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ladson's supporters rose to their feet, but Rabah Timsit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustapha Bouazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillaume Laurent Benbitour hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brahim Belloumi in the 39th minute of play forced Ladson's goalkeeper Mahieddine Nabil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palmer FC's Mustapha Bouazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Timsit in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Lakhdar Oussar got free with Mahieddine Nabil in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rabah Timsit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rabah Timsit in the 88th minute of play forced Palmer FC's goalkeeper Mustapha Bouazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mahieddine Nabil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lakhdar Oussar in the 91st minute. Mustapha Bouazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelmalek Messaoud in the 93rd minute of the match. If Abdelmalek Messaoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mustapha Bouazza came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Ladson's Rabah Timsit. But to his dismay, Rabah Timsit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.
