Mehdi Ziani struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Mustapha Bouazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Port Orange. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmer FC's goalkeeper Mustapha Bouazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mehdi Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustapha Bouazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fadel Zerara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lakhdar Oussar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Mustapha Hamdani made a huge save. Palmer FC's Mustapha Bouazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fadel Zerara in the 26th minute of play. Mehdi Ziani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mustapha Bouazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brahim Belloumi's late challenge caught a Port Orange's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brahim Belloumi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Brahim Belloumi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Port Orange getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Abdelhamid Zitouni hit a great ball. Lakhdar Oussar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mustapha Hamdani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Port Orange's Mehdi Ziani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustapha Bouazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fadel Zerara to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Alain Messaoud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Port Orange and the Palmer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alain Messaoud hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 53 minutes of play, Palmer FC's Brahim Belloumi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustapha Hamdani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fadel Zerara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustapha Bouazza made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Mehdi Ziani sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Fodil Merah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustapha Bouazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fadel Zerara in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Lakhdar Oussar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehdi Ziani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mustapha Bouazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehdi Ziani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mehdi Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Fadel Zerara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustapha Bouazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
