Thelma Achiu came out of the goal and Toufik Messaoudi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th match minute, Crest Hill AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faouzi Benmabrouk to maneuver through the defense. Halim Yahi struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ahmed Mimoun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheat Lake AFC. In the 22nd minute Abdellah Medjadi Hindi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thelma Achiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toufik Messaoudi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Thelma Achiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abdelhani Larbi fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cheat Lake AFC's protests and gave Abdelhani Larbi a yellow card for diving instead. Abdelhani Larbi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Cheat Lake AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdellah Medjadi Hindi came free, but Thelma Achiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdellah Medjadi Hindi was the one to do the kick off. Mohamed Hadjar hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdellah Medjadi Hindi in the 52nd minute of play forced Cheat Lake AFC's goalkeeper Thelma Achiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Abdellah Medjadi Hindi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Crest Hill AFC's Abdellah Medjadi Hindi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thelma Achiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0.
