In the 4th minute, Safy Boutabout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes Campbellsville FC got a freekick which was hit by Smail Bitat. A hard shot by Salah Boulmerka from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Tahar Timsit's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Abdelhamid Dziri charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelhamid Dziri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Abdelhamid Dziri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Campbellsville FC's Mouloud Besseghir got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehdi Kafi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tahar Timsit. Tahar Timsit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Yazid Lelouch struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Nadir Mimoun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rowlett. After a rather tough play, Campbellsville FC's Smail Brahmi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Hamza Ouyahia, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mehdi Kafi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tahar Timsit having to make a save. With a little luck, Rowlett's Tahar Timsit got control of the ball when Mehdi Kafi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mouloud Besseghir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mouloud Zarabi to make the kick off. Rowlett's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hamza Ouyahia in the 53rd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Abdelhamid Dziri heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mouloud Zarabi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Rowlett's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mehdi Kafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahar Timsit having to interfere. A collision led to Campbellsville FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. René Zitouni hit a great ball. When Mehdi Kafi came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Campbellsville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehdi Kafi couldn't finish the play. If Mouloud Besseghir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mouloud Zarabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yazid Lelouch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nadir Mimoun having to interfere. A collision led to Rowlett getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Yazid Zarabi hit a great ball. Mouloud Besseghir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahar Timsit having to interfere. Anther Belkacem hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Safy Boutabout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campbellsville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Safy Boutabout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mouloud Besseghir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tahar Timsit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Campbellsville FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
