Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Emerald Isle FC's Hemza Amirouche started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mohammad Bougherra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abderrahmane Sami Yachir in the 4th minute of the match. Hakim Mamouni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismaël Zidane in the 9th minute. Ismaël Zidane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hakim Mamouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohammad Bougherra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hemza Amirouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Karim Zenia hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Zoheir Zeghdoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakim Mamouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zoheir Zeghdoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Emerald Isle FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ismaël Zidane fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ismaël Chaib's late challenge caught a Gonzales AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismaël Chaib helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Ismaël Chaib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hakim Mamouni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismaël Zidane in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Hemza Amirouche notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gonzales AFC's Mohammad Bougherra. Mohammad Bougherra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 42 minutes into the match, Emerald Isle FC's Abderrahmane Sami Yachir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohammad Bougherra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mohammad Bougherra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hemza Amirouche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hemza Amirouche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohammad Bougherra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zoheir Zeghdoud to strike the kick off in the second half. Hakim Mamouni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismaël Zidane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes, Mohammed Ahmed Ben Lamine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Emerald Isle FC and the Gonzales AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Lamine hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Emerald Isle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zoheir Zeghdoud came free, but Hakim Mamouni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hakim Mamouni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoheir Zeghdoud went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 64th match minute, Emerald Isle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by El Djamel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoheir Zeghdoud in the 67th minute of play forced Emerald Isle FC's goalkeeper Hakim Mamouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismaël Zidane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismaël Chaib got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 70th minute, Ismaël Chaib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slimane Mouzaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Emerald Isle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismaël Zidane came free, but Hakim Mamouni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Emerald Isle FC booed when Gonzales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Fergani didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Mohammed Ahmed Ben Lamine from long distance, 81 minutes into the match, got Mohammad Bougherra's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Abderrahmane Sami Yachir's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mohammad Bougherra firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 85th minute Ismaël Zidane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakim Mamouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakim Mamouni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoheir Zeghdoud, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Zoheir Zeghdoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakim Mamouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzales AFC's Zoheir Zeghdoud got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Emerald Isle FC defense, Zoheir Zeghdoud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hakim Mamouni. The Emerald Isle FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hakim Mamouni should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Gonzales AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
