Mimoun Ouid Ibrir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nasser Ouadah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Nasser Ouadah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mimoun Ouid Ibrir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Daham in the 13th minute of play forced Eagle Grove FC's goalkeeper Bouzid Nasro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bouzid Nasro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamel Ammour in the 14th minute of play. Nasser Ouadah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mimoun Ouid Ibrir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Djamel Ammour in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bouzid Nasro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamid Daham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bouzid Nasro having to interfere. Nasser Ouadah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noureddine Zaoui hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noureddine Zaoui got free with Nasser Ouadah in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
