An unexpectedly hard shot by Youssef Nekkar in the 8th minute of play forced Media's goalkeeper Kassel Azem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noureddine Ziani succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. Media's Kassel Azem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Media from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Media's Kassel Azem got control of the ball when Noureddine Ziani tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chih Guendouz during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Despite this Kassel Azem quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Media's Kassel Azem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Media from getting a goal against them. Abdelhamid Zaaf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mouloud Amri in the 28th minute of the match. If Mouloud Amri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes of play, Media's Soltani Al-Jazairia made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdelhamid Zaaf was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Soltani Al-Jazairia to make the kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Media's goal looked a bit too open when Youssef Nekkar came free, but Kassel Azem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kassel Azem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Youssef Nekkar went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Noureddine Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belmadi Belloumi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Media's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abdelhamid Benhamou was slow to take the kick. During this time Alvarado's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Abdelhamid Benhamou almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Media's Kassel Azem did a great save.
