Rabah Sahraoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamid Horr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, River Road AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Ali came free, but Samir Boulmerka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Hamid Horr fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. River Road AFC's Samir Boulmerka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Kouidri in the 11th minute of play. Rabah Sahraoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamid Horr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samir Boulmerka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Kouidri, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Karim Ali kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The River Road AFC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when River Road AFC's Hamid Horr looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Mohamed Kouidri came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tolono FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Kouidri couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Tolono FC's Rabah Sahraoui got control of the ball when Mohamed Boudjedra tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hamid Horr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of River Road AFC booed when Tolono FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krim Chaouchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rabah Sahraoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Horr in the 38th minute of the match. When Tolono FC's Mohamed Kouidri in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye River Road AFC's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Kouidri to strike the kick off in the second half. Mohamed Kouidri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samir Boulmerka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute Hamid Horr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rabah Sahraoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chadli Aït Salem's late challenge caught a Tolono FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chadli Aït Salem helped the player get up and apologised. 77 minutes into the match, Tolono FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Boudjedra came free, but Rabah Sahraoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rabah Sahraoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Boudjedra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mohamed Boudjedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamid Horr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rabah Sahraoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Boudjedra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah Sahraoui having to interfere. Mohamed Kouidri struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Samir Boulmerka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tolono FC. Tolono FC's Rabah Sahraoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Horr in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tolono FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for River Road AFC.
