The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Bowie FC got a freekick which was hit by Boudjemaa Macias. In the 4th minute of the match Cherif Djamel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Smail Said showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 6th minute Sid Prévost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Smail Said saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karim Zidane was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Hamid Bougherra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hamid Bougherra really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Hamid Bougherra struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Karim Zidane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bowie FC. In the 19thth minute of the game Amar Bouazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pine Hill FC's Karim Zidane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Sid Prévost who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bowie FC's Smail Said was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Bowie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hamid Bruel came free, but Smail Said reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Bowie FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pine Hill FC:s goal. The supporters of Bowie FC booed when Pine Hill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kader Abdessalam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amar Bouazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bowie FC's Smail Said played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Bruel in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amar Bouazza made a kick off. Karim Zidane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amar Bouazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Bowie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudjemaa Macias to maneuver through the defense. Sid Prévost recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pine Hill FC's Sid Prévost got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sid Prévost struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Smail Said didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pine Hill FC. In the 67th minute, Hamid Bruel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pine Hill FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Smail Said didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamid Bruel went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 77th match minute, Bowie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hocine Zahouania to maneuver through the defense. Cherif Djamel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Pine Hill FC's Sid Prévost dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. After a rather tough play, Pine Hill FC's Kader Abdessalam got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bowie FC's Hamid Bougherra got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Amar Bouazza sped through Pine Hill FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karim Zidane. In the 92nd match minute, Pine Hill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kader Abdessalam to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Sid Prévost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Smail Said saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
