Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Khalida Merbah started the match with the kick off. When El Achiu fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabool's protests and gave El Achiu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cabool getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Karim Bedjaoui hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalida Merbah in the 8th minute of play forced Cabool's goalkeeper Tedj Saci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Cabool's goal looked a bit too open when Khalida Merbah came free, but Tedj Saci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Noureddine Ouyahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noureddine Boniche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalida Merbah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tedj Saci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Noureddine Ouyahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Farragut's goal looked a bit too open when Madjid Matoub came free, but Noureddine Boniche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Khalida Merbah lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Tedj Saci. El Achiu was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. El Achiu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Cabool's Tedj Saci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Cabool from getting a goal against them. Noureddine Boniche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Madjid Matoub in the 39th minute of play. Cabool's Madjid Matoub got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Madjid Matoub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Madjid Matoub made a kick off. Madjid Matoub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Farragut's Rachid Firoud got a free kick in the 57th minute. Tedj Saci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djamel Bitat in the 60th minute of the match. Madjid Matoub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Noureddine Boniche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Khalida Merbah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tedj Saci was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Farragut's Noureddine Boniche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Farragut from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Cabool's zone, Djamel Bitat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tedj Saci came out of the goal and Djamel Bitat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khalida Merbah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tedj Saci having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Madjid Matoub got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rabah Ghozali fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farragut's protests and gave Rabah Ghozali a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Rabah Ghozali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Farragut were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cabool for a fine match.
