Abdellah Sam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Yazid Bitat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Salim Messaoudi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yazid Bitat was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. If Abdellah Sam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Amrani Zitouni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Meziane Fadhil Mohamed. In the 21st minute, Rafik Zoheir Aziz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of West Plains FC booed when Orchard Mesa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kader Toumi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdellah Sam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Yazid Bitat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match Rabah Soltani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yazid Bitat skillfully saved the ball. Edmond Abdessalam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meziane Fadhil Mohamed having to interfere. A hard shot by Said Mazzid from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Meziane Fadhil Mohamed's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Orchard Mesa AFC's Meziane Fadhil Mohamed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafik Zoheir Aziz in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Cheb Diss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Yazid Bitat managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Orchard Mesa AFC's Abdellah Sam fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 59 minutes into the match, Orchard Mesa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amrani Zitouni came free, but Meziane Fadhil Mohamed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The West Plains FC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when West Plains FC's Amrani Zitouni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edmond Abdessalam's late challenge caught a Orchard Mesa AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmond Abdessalam helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, West Plains FC's Edmond Abdessalam got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Abdellah Sam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orchard Mesa AFC's Abdellah Sam got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. West Plains FC's Yazid Bitat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salim Messaoudi in the 74th minute of play. Zoheir Morceli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rafik Zoheir Aziz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meziane Fadhil Mohamed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amrani Zitouni, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. West Plains FC's Amrani Zitouni got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Meziane Fadhil Mohamed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafik Zoheir Aziz in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salim Messaoudi in the 93rd minute of play forced West Plains FC's goalkeeper Yazid Bitat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Rafik Zoheir Aziz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
