Rafik Zoheir Aziz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mourad Saci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mourad Saci came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by West Plains FC's Rafik Zoheir Aziz. But to his dismay, Rafik Zoheir Aziz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mourad Saci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafik Zoheir Aziz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Edmond Abdessalam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Plains FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cordova AFC the free kick. Edmond Abdessalam hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cordova AFC's zone, Amrani Zitouni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mourad Saci came out of the goal and Amrani Zitouni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 minutes, Abdelhamid Piaf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Plains FC and the Cordova AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amrani Zitouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Mourad Saci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amrani Zitouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mohamed Mehenni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yazid Bitat having to make a save. Mourad Saci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Zoheir Aziz in the 70th minute of the match. Cordova AFC's Mourad Saci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Cordova AFC from getting a goal against them. West Plains FC's Rafik Zoheir Aziz got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mohamed Mehenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, Cordova AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafik Zoheir Aziz came free, but Mourad Saci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Amrani Zitouni got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The West Plains FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing West Plains FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
