In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tarentum's goalkeeper Ali Brahimi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Assia Moussaoui fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarentum's protests and gave Assia Moussaoui a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tarentum's Assia Moussaoui got a free kick in the 38th minute. Mounir Saïfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Krim Adjaoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes of play, Tarentum's Assia Moussaoui made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Madjid Hamdoud was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krim Adjaoud to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krim Adjaoud in the 60th minute of play forced Tarentum's goalkeeper Ali Brahimi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mounir Saïfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ali Brahimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Brahimi was a little too slow when Mounir Saïfi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 2-1. Tarentum's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
