Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kateb Matmour got the match started through his kick off. Mahmoud Halimi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kateb Matmour, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Chakib Hamruche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Emsworth FC booed when Skaneateles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Souakri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Meziane Harkouk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skaneateles's supporters rose to their feet, but Meziane Harkouk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Mimoun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Smail Diss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meziane Harkouk took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rachid Mimoun. Rachid Mimoun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 25th match minute, Emsworth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelnasser Nasro to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Rachid Mimoun managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Skaneateles's Meziane Harkouk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mahmoud Halimi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kateb Matmour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustapha Hamrouche during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Skaneateles getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mustapha Hamrouche hit a great ball. The corner led Emsworth FC's Noureddine Souakri to a score. 1-1 in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Smail Diss made a kick off. If Meziane Harkouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karim Souakri charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karim Souakri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th match minute, Skaneateles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Souakri to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Meziane Harkouk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skaneateles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emsworth FC the free kick. In the 61st minute, Meziane Harkouk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kateb Matmour struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Mahmoud Halimi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emsworth FC. Chakib Hamruche made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 67thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Mahmoud Halimi would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Meziane Harkouk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Skaneateles getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Karim Souakri hit a great ball. Meziane Harkouk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rachid Mimoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mahmoud Halimi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kateb Matmour in the 79th minute of play. Skaneateles's Mahmoud Halimi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kateb Matmour in the 83rd minute of play. After 87 minutes of play Skaneateles's Karim Souakri was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mahmoud Halimi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kateb Matmour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Chakib Hamruche came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Emsworth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chakib Hamruche couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
