The supporters of Roy booed when Champion Heights AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamid Cherrad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Rafik Kouidri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rachid Baba Ali Mekhloufi skillfully saved the ball. If Noureddine Aziz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Roy's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Abdelghani came free, but Tayeb Liegeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noureddine Aziz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Baba Ali Mekhloufi having to interfere. If Frantz El-Hadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Roy's zone, Yazid Banouas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayeb Liegeon came out of the goal and Yazid Banouas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frantz El-Hadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Baba Ali Mekhloufi having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karim Abdelghani to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noureddine Aziz in the 56th minute of play forced Champion Heights AFC's goalkeeper Rachid Baba Ali Mekhloufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frantz El-Hadi took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rachid Baba Ali Mekhloufi. Rachid Baba Ali Mekhloufi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Karim Abdelghani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes, Hemza Amara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roy and the Champion Heights AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yazid Banouas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Champion Heights AFC's Rachid Baba Ali Mekhloufi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Champion Heights AFC from getting a goal against them. Tayeb Liegeon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karim Abdelghani went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute, Karim Abdelghani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noureddine Aziz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Frantz El-Hadi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rachid Baba Ali Mekhloufi. The goal made the score 1-2. The Champion Heights AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Roy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
