Ali Kerbouche started the match with the kick off. Mohamed Souakri hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Smail Sadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Fodil Zemmamouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodil Zemmamouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nabil Gaouaoui in the 7th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Crescent Springs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelkader Boniche to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Smail Sadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodil Zemmamouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Smail Sadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Mohamed Akrour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohamed Akrour got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Abdelkader Bouguerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Montesano's Albert Zéroual got control of the ball when Abdelkader Bouguerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nabil Gaouaoui made a kick off. Nabil Gaouaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Zemmamouche having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Crescent Springs got a freekick which was hit by Rabah Seghiri. Albert Zéroual showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Kerbouche in the 61st minute of the match. Abdelkader Bouguerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Albert Zéroual tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Kerbouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Crescent Springs booed when Montesano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nasreddine Daham didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Montesano's zone, Abdelkader Bouguerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Zéroual came out of the goal and Abdelkader Bouguerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Nabil Gaouaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montesano's supporters rose to their feet, but Nabil Gaouaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodil Zemmamouche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelkader Bouguerra in the 86th minute of play forced Montesano's goalkeeper Albert Zéroual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Abdelkader Bouguerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crescent Springs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelkader Bouguerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdel Labi's late challenge caught a Crescent Springs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdel Labi helped the player get up and apologised. 94 minutes into the game, Abdelkader Bouguerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Albert Zéroual was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
