After a rather tough play, Waterford's Salah Nabil got a free kick in the 2nd minute. If Abdelhamid Soltani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Bridgman's Lazhar Merzekane got control of the ball when Abdelhamid Soltani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lazhar Merzekane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tayeb Kourichi's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Abdelhamid Soltani came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lazhar Merzekane could save by the left post. If Abdelhamid Soltani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bridgman's Lazhar Merzekane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayeb Kourichi in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th of the match, Tayeb Kourichi tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lazhar Merzekane got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Tayeb Kerkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Bridgman's Samir Mansouri got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Tayeb Kourichi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lazhar Merzekane, 1-0. After having played for 24 minutes, Souad Nabil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bridgman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Souad Nabil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 played minutes Bridgman got a freekick which was hit by Chadli Ahmed. Abdel Temmam hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Souad Nabil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halim Mamouni having to interfere. Halim Mamouni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayeb Kerkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Tayeb Kourichi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazhar Merzekane having to interfere. Thelma Mezair hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, one of Waterford:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Bridgman. Mounir Matoub stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Halim Mamouni. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Tayeb Kourichi made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bridgman getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Samir Mansouri hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayeb Kerkar in the 58th minute of play forced Waterford's goalkeeper Halim Mamouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yazid Derrida's late challenge caught a Bridgman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yazid Derrida helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Waterford's Yazid Derrida got a free kick in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Souad Nabil got free with Halim Mamouni in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Bridgman's Mounir Matoub shot a high long ball. Waterford's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. If Tayeb Kourichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chadli Ahmed's late challenge caught a Waterford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chadli Ahmed helped the player get up and apologised. Souad Nabil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Halim Mamouni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 80 minutes into the match, Waterford's goal looked a bit too open when Tayeb Kerkar came free, but Halim Mamouni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halim Mamouni made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Souad Nabil sent off a good shot on target. After 84 minutes, Mohamed Zafour mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waterford and the Bridgman players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Bridgman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rachid Mecherara to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes Bridgman's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fathi Yahia who took care of the corner kick. Fathi Yahia made a great header on Waterford's corner, it was just that Bridgman's Lazhar Merzekane managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdelhamid Soltani during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bridgman booed when Waterford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelhamid Soltani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tayeb Kerkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Halim Mamouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Waterford supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bridgman's performance. The match ended with a win for Bridgman.
