Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bridgman's Tayeb Kerkar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tayeb Kerkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mimoun Ben Bella charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mimoun Ben Bella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lemay's Mimoun Ben Bella got a free kick in the 10th minute. Tayeb Kerkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tayeb Kerkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chadli Belmellat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lazhar Merzekane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daho Khadra charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daho Khadra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Lemay got a freekick which was hit by Daho Khadra. 24 minutes into the match, Bridgman's Mounir Matoub broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Meziane Ahmed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazhar Merzekane having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Guillaume Laurent Khadra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Chadli Belmellat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daho Khadra hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Meziane Ahmed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lazhar Merzekane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meziane Ahmed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lemay getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mourad Bougherra hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fouad Baroudi during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bridgman's Fouad Baroudi got a free kick in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Meziane Ahmed got free with Lazhar Merzekane in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Nordine Boufroura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. René Lamine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayeb Kerkar in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tayeb Kerkar in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck René Lamine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lazhar Merzekane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chadli Belmellat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Tayeb Kerkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Lamine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazhar Merzekane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chadli Belmellat, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bridgman's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jean-Michel Saïd-Guerni was slow to take the kick. During this time Lemay's players had a chance to rest. Nordine Boufroura was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bridgman's Lazhar Merzekane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Bridgman from getting a goal against them. Bridgman's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Mimoun Ben Bella scored to the left of an out of position Lazhar Merzekane, making the score, 0-1. René Lamine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tayeb Kerkar in the 82nd minute of the match. When Ismael Camus fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bridgman's protests and gave Ismael Camus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Bridgman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Camus to maneuver through the defense. Meziane Ahmed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Lazhar Merzekane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Chadli Belmellat came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Lemay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chadli Belmellat couldn't finish the play. After having played for 88 minutes, Chadli Belmellat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lemay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chadli Belmellat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Souad Nabil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
